Robert & Linda Norton and Family

Hello and thank you for visiting our family web site!  We have created this web page to try and help folks keep up with the ever changing story of the Norton clan.

God has blessed us with six children. Virginia (Genna), a homeschool graduate, is married to Tim Frazier, and they live in the thriving metropolis of Dover Florida. You can check out the Frazier family web page HERE.  Joshua, also a homeschool graduate is currently working for Gulfcoast Air Conditioning as an installer. Catherine is currently working on getting her cosmetology license. Christin is homeschooled and in her junior year of high school and Joannah is also homeschooled and is looking forward to starting her freshman year in high school. Little Ethan is bringing up the rear. He is in fourth grade of Central Baptist Christian School of Brandon and is having a great time channeling his enormous amounts of attention and energy discovering the world around him.

Genna and Tim are the proud parents of Heather and William. They are a real blessing to the family and are constantly asking mom and dad to go Abba and Grandmommy's house.

Bob and Linda are both FBC alumni. Bob graduated from FBC with a BA in Biblical Studies and Linda (Caum) attended a year and a half (she was a member of the Joy Trio) and continued on to graduate from the University of South Florida with a BA in Music and piano performance.

Bob is a Field Engineer with Tampa Electric Co. for the past twenty three years. Linda has taught piano at home.

We are members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church of Riverview which is part of the Presbyterian Church in America. We are involved in the worship and music. Linda plays piano and Bob fills in with the worship and heads up the sound and visual arts ministry. We are also involved in the Community Group (cell group) ministry of the church.  Bob also serves on the session of the church. We are both seeking the Lord's leading in working with some of the rural churches in Jamaica. Linda has developed a music instruction and discipleship ministry. The Jamaicans in the west end of the island and up in the hill country, the Lucea and Hanover district, are thirsty for the truth of the gospel to be worked out in their lives and we have found music to be a great tool in teaching and decipling these wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ. We are currently working with Missions To the World (MTW) to try and expand the ministry.  Catherine is currently seeking the Lord's will in becoming a full time missionary with MTW and is currently working with one of the local pastors in the Harbor View district in Kingston, Jamaica. She is working as a fulltime volunteer for the next month to experience what fulltime ministry is all about, especially in the context of missions. Here are some pictures of our last trip in October.

Linda has also started writing a music theory workbook. Although it is primarily designed as a study guide for preparing students involved in the Florida Music Teachers Association it can be used as a through education for all music students in understanding music theory. Linda has a web site called Studentday Workbooks were you can see more detailed information.

Needless to say, life is full and most of the time is almost a blur. We would love to hear from you though so click on the email link below and drop us a line. We'd love to hear from you.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Bob and Linda
